Quarterly Luncheon at Storm Stadium Diamond Club

Quarterly Luncheon- September 24th 

The Economic Development Corporation of Southwest California is having its next Quarterly Luncheon on Thursday, September 24th at the Diamond Club inside the Lake Elsinore Storm Baseball Stadium.

Cost of the event is $40.00 per person. Registration will begin at 11:30. Dr. Esmael Adibi, Director of the Anderson Center for Economic Research and Chair of Economic Analysis at Chapman University, is the guest speaker and will be providing an in-depth discussion on the current state of economics, both state-wide and nationally.

The presentation will cover Chapman's forecast for the remainder of 2009 and 2010, and explore the role of monetary and fiscal policies in stimulating the national economy. Answers to the questions about the Federal Reserve and government intervention intended to stabilize the credit and housing markets, when will the recession end, how will interest rates react in the near future, what is the outlook for the job markets, and California's residential markets,,,what went wrong and are we at the bottom?

Change Strategists Inc. and RBF Consulting are the events sponsors. Both companies are long time members of the EDC and are regular supporters of EDC events. Chapman University and Mt. San Jacinto College are hosts of the event with the EDC.
